I have a 1992 Barina that I purchased last year and am thinking about not reregistering.
Does this vehicle fit within the guidelines for credit towards my eventually buying a new car?

I’m very conscious of the effect of greenhouse emissions and have only just today purchased a Hybrid camry. The other
car I drive is a 1993 ED Ford Futura 5 litre V8.
What I need to know is am I eligible for the rebate under this scheme, even though I have purchased this Hybrid now.
I know this scheme doesn’t come into effect until January next year,if I am eligible for the rebate, am I able to cash in on the remaining rego of my old Ford, regards Alan.
